Dr. Imtiaz A. Kazi is a distinguished diplomat and philanthropist, currently serving as the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Republic of the Philippines since November 2020. He previously held the position of Ambassador to Kazakhstan from August 2018 to October 2020. With a rich diplomatic career, Dr. Kazi has also served as Consul General in Frankfurt and held significant roles in Paris, Doha, and Kuala Lumpur.
In addition to his diplomatic work, Dr. Kazi is a philanthropist committed to various social causes. His educational background includes degrees in M.B.B.S., LL.B., M.A., and M.I.P.P. from Johns Hopkins University. He has served in notable capacities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Director General roles at the National Defence University and the Foreign Office. Dr. Kazi is also a literary contributor, having translated Sufi poetry into English.
